What I like about this image of fall is, of course, the colours, the close-up colours of that single leaf rather than the usual coloured fall tree full shots. But, what I really like about this image is the angle of the shot. It's curiously flat. You come at this leaf not high angle looking down but eye-level with that single focused leaf. Unusual. Interesting. The effect puts the viewer amongst the leaves. We feel like we're part of the shot. Also, that lone drop of water on the leaf adds life, albeit still life, to the setting. Good to be back with your photographs again. Happy Thanksgiving.
