Such strong, sweeping lines here! Pleasingly, I'm pulled into the frame and can't help but stare at it all - contrasting tones, clarity of lines, lack of a focal point. My eye runs in all directions simultaneously; my brain is surprised and I like the sensation. I come out of the frame taking something with me: beauty and joy.
I know it's black and white, but here in your lens you've unintentionally [??] captured borrowed light, so to speak. The image has the effect of moonlight painting these reaching trees - our eyes are only monochrome at night and this beautiful photo goes a long way towards showcasing such reflected sunlight as well as the colour limitations of our eyes. Interesting shot, Heather. I like it immensely.
